My son is a picky eater and when he started nursery I opted for the school lunch box in the hope that he would improve his eating habits. It was tough in the beginning and he would often come home without eating, but now since last term he eats whatever is on the menu. Still I can’t help being anxious at lunchtime….
It’s lunchtime and I’m wondering if
You’ve had your chicken and veggies too,
It’s good that you have company there
I’m alone here, can’t help missing you.
There’s still an hour till you come home,
With all the excitement of the day,
You’ve forgotten each morning when
“I don’t want to go to school” you say.

Aww this is just so cute ! Loved the love hidden in your words for your angel 🙂
Thank you Lala Rukh I miss my baby at lunchtime 😦
Thank you so much for the link. I really enjoyed your post. Reminds me of when my children (now 21 and 18) were young. They grow up so fast.
Thank you for reading my post. My son has just started staying at school an hour longer and it really feels strange. I miss him at lunchtime 😦 but at the same time I’m glad he has started eating well (he has a history of being a picky eater).
It is a strange feeling. I’m so glad. My daughter was a picky eater too. Now she loves to cook.
That’s great to hear 🙂
